Definition
Specifies the general residence time for a business object.
Use
The system uses the standard residence time if you do not enter an individual residence time for a business object in the IMG activity Define Residence Time Determination (Archiving Factory).
Dependencies
If you have set an individual residence time and this differs from the standard residence time entered here, the system uses the individual residence time and overrides the standard residence time.
The standard residence time must be at least as long as the minimum residence time.
