Definition

This parameter determines how FI Accounting document items are selected from table BSEG. The following options are available:

2 Process individual documents

Select this option if each FI Accounting document has many line items (about 100 or more). This option minimizes the use of memory.

3 Process document packages

This is the default option. Documents are grouped in packages and all dependent document items are selected for each package.

5 Process document ranges

This option attempts to condense document numbers to ranges in order to minimize database query overhead. This option should only be selected if all document numbers are numerical.

You may want to do test runs in order to determine what parameter value gives best performance.
