Definition
In case of exporting DART files to archiv or importing DART files from archiv an error can occure. With the parameters you can influence the system behavior in case of such error during batch processing.
This settings are used only in case of 'Export to achive' or 'Import from archive' - for 'Browse extract' or 'Delete extract' this settings are not used.
Use
There are different possible situations during export or import that you can handle with the flags 'Re-Export/Import of files' and 'Partial Export/Import of files'.
- The extract was not exported/imported before - in this case the settings for the archive options do not have any effect. The export or import will be done for all files of the extract.
- The extract was exported/imported before - in this case the batch process will end with an error message if the flag 'Re-Export/Import of Files' is not set. So if you want to allow a (automated/scheduled) re-run of a export/import batch job you should mark this flag. If you want to do the re-run manually you do not need to set this flag.
- In case you marked the 'Re-Export/Import of files' the system can re-export/import all files or just the files that wasn't exported/imported successful before. If you do not mark the flag 'Partial Export/Import of files' the system will again export or import all file independent from the export/import status of the different files of the extract. If the flag 'Partial Export/Import of files' is marked the system will only export/import those files of the extract that wasn't exported/imported successful before.
