Definition
By default, the extraction utility selects data from the database in packages of 100 records at a time. In a typical system, this default setting results in good performance and should not be changed. However, in some cases a smaller value should be chosen in order to reduce memory consumption.
Chosing a value significantly greater than 100 will normally not result in any performance improvement.
