Definition
A scenario is a market data record which can contain current market data, exchange rates, exchange rate volatilities, yield curves, interest rate volatilities, security indexes, security index volatilities, security prices, and security volatilities.
You, the user, create scenarios, which represent market situations you consider possible or probable (for example, a high interest rate scenario with an inverted yield curve). You can also use historical market data.
A scenario is not tied to a certain calendar date. Within the valuation in which the scenario is used for valuation, the horizon determines on which future calendar date the scenario should be valid.

Use
In the evaluations for ALM simulations, the system initially displays the results using the selected reference scenario.
Dependencies
If you want to use a reference scenario, choose the value "Use reference scenario" for the Market data selection indicator.
If ALM expert mode is set to active, the delta of a scenario is displayed alongside the reference scenario in the overview screen for the ALM simulation.
