Definition
Statistic types (statistical calculation types) are customizable descriptive elements which can, for example, be assigned to volatility and correlation types. When estimating volatilities or correlations, the parameters of each estimation function are encoded via the statistic type. In addition course types for the underlying instruments can be encoded here.
