Definition

Technical name that determines to which location a given time refers. This ensures that the time specification is unique worldwide.

Use

The specification of a location in the time segement is generic. This means that you do not make a direct entry, but assign a particular time type to a particular location type (e.g. always the shipping point in the document).The actual location differs from document to document and is determined from the data in the application document during the system runtime.

To define a new logical location, changes in the source code are required in the form TSEG_CALLBACK_ZONELOCA in the corresponding function groups of those applications, which should use the time segment with the logical time.
