Documentation
Definition
A line with the values Sec. ID (reference): A
Sec. ID (to be transferred): B
Position change: n
Value change: c
+- sign: +/-
results in the following action:
n*k units of security B with the c-times book value of position A are posted (+- sign = '+') or taken off the books (+- sign = '-') for each securities account with positions of security A. In the case of negative positions (k<0), the interpretation of the +- sign is reversed.
Examples
The following lines code a stock swap from A to B with a swap ratio of
1 : 2.
Line Sec.ID(ref.) Sec.ID(trans.) +-sign Positn chnge Value change ------------------------------------------------------------------------
1 A A - 1 1
2 A B + 2 1
The first line means that for each stock A, a stock A with the entire book value of stock A is taken off the books. In short: all positions of stock A are taken off the books.
The second line means that two stocks B with the book value of stock A are posted for each stock A. In short: An amount of positions B, which is double that of positions A, is posted with the book value of positions A.
