Definition
The special valuation category indicates the reason for performing a valuation in a different way to the rules specified by the valuation principle. Two categories are supported:
- Special write-up/write down - mandatory
- Special write-up/write-down - exercised right
Special update types are used for each category.
You can only perform a special valuation for a two-step valuation principle, and only for securities.
