Definition

Date from which the key figures and characteristics of a master data record are active for regulatory reporting.

Use

The posting date is used as the allocation date in the premium reserve fund list; the validity data of the BAV master data only specifies the first time when the capital investment has been allocated to one of the stocks.

The system generates flow records (inflows, transfers) in the ISSR area from the created BAV master data record, enriches them with the master data, and displays them in reporting in the appropriate lists.

When you create a reporting master record, the system checks whether postings or regulatory reporting-relevant transfers have taken place to the assigned capital investment or the securities account before the validity date. If this is the case, the BAV master data can only be changed using the premium reserve fund transfer function.

You can find this function using the following paths:

  • Securities area:

Accounting -> Corporate Finance Management -> Transaction Manager -> Securities -> Back Office -> Regulatory Reporting -> Transfer

  • Money market:

Accounting -> Corporate Finance Management -> Transaction Manager -> Money Market -> Back Office -> Regulatory Reporting -> Transfer

  • Loans Management:

Accounting -> Bank Applications -> Loans Management -> Position Management -> Premium Reserve Fund -> Transfer

  • Real Estate Management:

Accounting -> Real Estate Management -> Master Data -> Country Specifics -> BAV Regulatory Reporting -> Transfer

Therefore, we recommend that when you create an ISSR master data record or securities account data that depends on regulatory reporting, you always use the initial value for the validity data so that you can ensure that no flows have already run.
