Definition
The transfer method specifies how the transferred asset should be capitalized in the target company code. The transfer method is entered in the transfer variant. The options are:
- Gross method: The system uses the historical APC and accumulated value adjustments of the asset for capitalization.
- Net method: The system uses the net book value of the asset for capitalization.
- New value method: When you transfer the asset, you manually enter a new value for it.
