Definition

Total price of an activity type for a cost center or business process in controlling area currency.

Planning

Use

The total price multipled by the actual inputs on the cost centers and business processes equals the target credit of the cost center/process.

Procedure

To set the manual price:

  • Define the corresponding field in the planning layout
  • In the planning field "Price indicator", enter 3
  • Enter the appropriate value for the price

If you do not define the field in the layout, the R/3 System automatically calculates the price in controlling area currency using the object currency price if you planned the price in that currency and satisfied the requirements for follow-up postings. In this case, the price appears in controlling area currency but cannot be changed manually.

Note

The field group posts only if you set the "All currencies" indicator in the controlling area for the affected fiscal year. Otherwise, you can plan the price in controlling area currency only.

If the indicator is active, the R/3 System uses the object currency for crediting/debiting prices in activity allocations; if inactive, it uses the controlling area currency instead.
