Definition
When you set this indicator for an operating concern, any data that is not in the SAP HANA database is read additionally from the SAP ERP system.
Use
The actual data and plan data of an operating concern are replicated to the SAP HANA database up to a particular time stamp. Data with a date falling after this time stamp only exists in SAP ERP until the next replication. For CO-PA reporting, you now have two options:
- Read data from SAP HANA only
If you do not set the Read Also Line Items indicator, the system only reads data records that have been replicated to the SAP HANA database. The system ignores any data records in the request period that have not yet been replicated and that consequently only exist in SAP ERP.
- Read data additionally from SAP ERP (default setting)
If you set the Read Also Line Items indicator, the system reads from SAP HANA all data records from the start of read access while excluding the safety buffer. Data records with a larger time stamp are read additionally from SAP ERP.

Time of the replication is January 3, 2011, at 00:00:00.
If a report requests documents from January 1 through January 4 and the Read Also Line Items indicator is not set, only documents 4711 and 4712 are displayed. If this indicator is set, all three documents are displayed.
