Definition
Safety buffer (in seconds) for reading data from SAP HANA in the case of alternatively replicated data (external replication).
Use
The system selects the data from SAP HANA up to the start of read access, excluding the period entered here. The missing entries from this period are read from the SAP ERP database.
Dependencies
This field is only relevant if you have set up "alternative replication" (see External Replication) and Read Also Line Items.

If, on January 2, 2011 at 8:00:00, you request data from January 1 through January 2, all three documents are found. However, if the safety buffer is set to 30, the system only finds documents 4711 and 4712.
