Definition

The indicator controls, whether the latest date.

  • for a purchase order,
  • for a stock transport order,
  • for a delivery

should be determined by scheduling

Every date determines the latest point at which a follow-on document must be generated from an item for its work list, so that the plants can be supplied on the planned goods receipt date.

Due items can be selected from a work list for generation, using this last generating date.

Example

A plant should be supplied with a certain material. The goods must first be externally procured. The plant always procures this material from a distribution center. The stock transfer from the distribution center to the plant is initiated via a delivery.

If scheduling was activated, the latest purchase order date and the latest date for stock transfer (by delivery) from the distribution center to the plants is calculated starting from the goods receipt date of the plant. The order work list and the delivery due list have been enhanced for supplying the plant. The previously scheduled data is used in the work lists.

This data must be individually maintained if scheduling is not active. If this data is missing, the affected allocation table item is marked as incomplete. No work lists are extended.
