Documentation
Definition
This indicator specifies that the following objects are scheduled if specified in the control key you selected:
- operations and sub-operations in Quality Management (QM), Plant Maintenance (PM) and Production Planning (PP)
- activities and activity elements in the Project System (PS)
The earliest and latest dates for activity elements are determined. - phases and secondary resources in Production Planning for Process Industries (PP-PI)
The system ignores this indicator for operations. You receive the start date of your first phase as well as the finish date of the last phase.
Note
Note that sub-operations and activity elements are scheduled in relation to the superior operation or activity and secondary resources are scheduled in relation to the superior phase. Therefore, you should only use a control key with this indicator for a sub-operation, activity element or secondary resource, only if the superior operation, activity or superior phase is also scheduled.
If the indicator is not set, for example, for operations used as documentation, the following applies:
- Operations (QM, PM, PP), activities (PS) and phases (PP-PI) are scheduled with a duration of 0, which means start and finish dates correspond to the finish of the previous operation, activity or phase, even if you entered a duration different than 0 in the operation, activity or phase.
- Sub-operations (QM, PM, PP), activity elements (PS) and secondary resources (PP-PI) keep the dates from the superior operation, activity or phase.
Supplementary Documentation - TERM_D 0310
Definition
Indicates that an activity or activity element should be scheduled.
- If the indicator refers to an activity, the activity is scheduled.
- If the indicator refers to an activity element, the earliest or latest dates are determined for that element.
Dependencies
If you do not maintain the indicator, the activity is not scheduled.
In this case the activity duration is zero. The start date is the same as the finish date of the previous activity.
