Documentation
Definition
If the transportation relevance indicator is set, the route can be used for creating shipments. If you use routes in delivery documents for which transportation relevance is not maintained, these deliveries cannot be planned in shipments.
Supplementary Documentation - TDIIX 0001
Use
The indicator controls whether an entry for deliveries with this route should be included in the transportation planning index.
The transportation planning index makes up the work list for deliveries for which transportation planning should be carried out.
Procedure
Do not set the indicator if this route should be excluded from transportation planning.
Set the indicator if this route should be taken into account in transportation planning. If you have not already done so, set this indicator for the corresponding delivery types as well. This is done in the 'Transportation relevance for delivery types' step.
Note
Only if the delivery type and the route for a delivery have both been classified as relevant for transportation will the delivery be taken into account in transportation planning.
