Definition

If you set this indicator the system prevents the open items in the loan from being cleared automatically by incoming payments. Instead, the system posts the incoming payments as overpayments, unless there are other loans in the same incoming payment distribution level to which postings can be made.

The indicator is only set in the payoff function and so indicates a lock by the payoff. In subsequent releases the indicator may be reset automatically. At the moment you must reset the indicator manually, except in cases where the payoff has been reversed or deleted.
