Definition

If an error occurs, an explanation is displayed. Warnings also appear in this field.

The SAP R/3 System recognizes the following error messages:

  • SAP Customizing: Datafeed parameters are incomplete! Please check the translation table in datafeed Customizing. One of the following fields is empty:
    • instrument
    • data source
    • instrument property

      Market data cannot be retrieved if the information is incomplete.

    • Security price type unknown! If necessary, maintain the price type in Customizing. Remove the entry from the translation table.
  • SAP application data:
    • Securities exchange unknown! Maintain the relevant exchange, if necessary, in the class data entered.
  • Others:
    • No information in the external file! Contact the datafeed provider if necessary. The imported file with the securities and instrument names is incomplete.

The SAP R/3 System recognizes the following warnings:

  • The warning in the form
    "Dev x % Limit y % Last price/rate z Last date d" shows that a predefined price/rate monitoring function has established a deviation "Dev" amounting to x%. The defined limit for the monitoring was y%. The last comparative rate was "z" on date "d".
  • External datafeed/unit quotation security: Currency empty, choose <Currency>. The <Currency> entered comes from the class data and is transferred to the rate/price information as the datafeed has not delivered this rate/price information.

All error messages with error status 50-99 come from external partner programs.
