Documentation
Definition
Indicates the value at which the remaining capital was converted to euros in the context of a contract currency changeover (CCC).
Use
The amount is automatically determined in the context of the CCC and entered in the cash flow as a posted flow. The calculation is made as follows:
First of all, the remaining capital is determined in the original currency at the key date for the changeover, and converted to euros. The resulting amount represents the actual remaining capital for the loan.
The remaining capital is always calculated from the individual documents in Loans Management. In the next stage, therefore, the remaining capital is first determined from the documents that have been converted into euros. The difference between this and the remaining capital calculation from the first stage is then represented in euros. This difference is entered in the cash flow as a separate flow, to adjust the remaining capital in euros, and posted to FI.

Example
Business operation...... in DEM .................................. in Euro
(posted)................(original currency)
Disbursement 100 51.13
Repayment 50 25.56
The remaining capital amounts to DEM 100 DEM 50 = DEM 50 in original currency.
The remaining capital in euro is derived by converting this value, and amounts to EUR 25.56. This is the actual amount for the borrower.
If you use the converted flows to represent the remaining capital in euro, the amount derived is as follows: EUR 51.13 EUR 25.56 = EUR 25.57. As the actual amount is EUR 25.56, however, the remaining capital is reduced by EUR 0.01.
