Definition

During the creation of transfer requirements, this indicator controls the issuance of a message if the user does not specify a batch for a material that is handled in batches.

Use

As a rule, a batch must be specified for every material that is handled in batches. However, there are certain cases where a batch specification is not necessary, for example, because the system finds the batch later during the transaction. For these situations, you can use this indicator to control whether a warning, an error message or no message at all is to be issued whenever the batch specification is missing.
