Definition

Storage type to which any differences that may occur are to be posted.

Use

Differences that occur during goods transfer are posted to the interim record for differences with the help of the difference indicator.

The selection of the difference storage types and bins can be controlled by a table. The following possibilities are available:

1. Specification of the storage type and storage bin: the difference is posted to the specified storage bin.
2. Specification of the storage type and setting the indicator "TO number": the system creates a dynamic storage bin in the storage type specified based on the transfer order number. Then the difference is posted to this bin.
3. Setting the indicator "Source storage bin": the difference is posted to the source storage bin defined in the movement type.
