Definition
Through this field you control whether posting changes caused by inventory management postings are prohibited for a storage type.
Posting changes (from the WMS viewpoint) are postings in inventory management that, because of their movement type, can lead to a reduction in one stock and simultaneouslly an increase in another stock, where both stocks are in the same warehouse number.
As a rule, these postings are executed in WMS through the posting change area. If you have Handling Unit Management implemented, you can execute postings with handling units directly at the bin of the handling unit concerned.
However, if you wish to execute posting changes for handling units through transfer orders and thereby wish to prevent a posting change from being executed directly at the storage bin, then you should set this indicator.
