Documentation
Definition
Here you specify whether to maintain the master record fields "Key date of last interest calculation" and "Date of last interest run" via batch input.
For the "Date of last interest run" field, note the following:
If you run the program between midnight and 6 o'clock in the morning, the system maintains the date of the previous day as the "Date of last interest run" in the master record.
The system does not update the master record fields if interest could not be calculated because of missing table entries. (Missing table entries are output at the end of the settlement.)
If interest was not calculated due to other reasons, the system still updates the fields, especially if interest was not calculated because:
- the calculated interest amount equals zero,
- the calculated interest amount is less than the minimum/maximum amount defined for each interest calculation indicator in the general interest terms, or
- the payment of credit interest according to the general interest terms is not permitted.
Supplementary Documentation - SZISBIST 0001
Use
If interest is paid on various transactions within an account (including special G/L transactions), master record maintenance is only carried out after the last transaction since otherwise interest is paid for the wrong settlement period, or no interest at all is paid on the subsequent transactions.
