The repeat counter reports how often the workflow system attempts to execute again a work item in this step that has a temporary error.

Use

This repeat counter is only ready for input with background steps, since the recipient can deal with any repeated execution with dialog steps.

If you enter 0 as repeat counter, the system takes the repeat counter defined in Customizing.
