Definition
Within the lock concept, a time interval is defined indicating the length of each attempt to set a lock. You define how often the workflow manager should attempt to set a lock for a work item.
If the lock has not been set after the time interval specified, the work item is saved. A background job periodically checks these work items and continues processing them as soon as the lock error ceases to occur.
