Definition
The outcomes offered for selection are:
- Task executed synchronously
This outcome applies in the following cases:
- If the activity refers to a synchronous object method without result,
- If the activity refers to a synchronous object method with result, but no result is selected.
- Terminating events of underlying single-step task
These outcomes apply if terminating events were defined for the single-step task.
- Values of the result of the object method
These outcomes only apply if the activity refers to a synchronous method, and fixed values or a value table are maintained for the method result.
- Exceptions to the object method
These outcomes are available if exceptions were defined for the method to be executed in the Business Object Builder.
- Exceptions to the activity, which can arise in workflow execution.
These are the following exceptions:
- Processing rejected
- This exception is added and activated automatically if the indicator Processing can be rejected is set in the step definition.
- Processing obsolete
- The processing of the work item can be set to obsolete using a step of the type "process control". The subsequent events defined after this exception are then executed.
For detailed information about an outcome, double-click on the event ID.
