Heading 43 Lock Behavior of Workflow Runtime System
Documentation

Definition

You use this to define the lock behavior of the workflow system.

The setting Standard behavior corresponds to the standard system behavior and should be used when forks are used.

The execution of workflows that only consist of a sequential order of steps performs better if the setting is Lock behavior for sequential workflows.

You should use the setting Lock behavior for background workflows if the workflow contains forks with background steps and is executed frequently.
