Definition

The account number of the balance sheet account to which the closing balances of P&L accounts are to be posted.

The question of which postings are made depends on the posting specifications for closing (country version):

  • If, during P&L account closing, the P&L account balances are posted to retained earnings accounts in accordance with table T030, the balances in these retained earnings accounts are posted to the account specified.

  • If no retained earnings accounts from table T030 are used, the individual balances from the P&L accounts are posted directly to the account specified.

The country-specific posting specification is defined by calling up RFSUMB00 or FAGL_YEC_POSTINGS.
