Definition
In all rate steps that generate billing line items you must specify a statistical rate. When billing takes place the statistical rate is copied to the billing line item. You can use this rate key for statistical analyses of the billing documents.
It is normally appropriate to specify the actual rate key as the statistical rate. Therefore, when you create a new rate step, the rate key is proposed as the statistical rate.
