Documentation
Definition
Quantity as of which a discount is granted.
In this case, you either define a value discount or a quantity discount
Scaled discounts are explicitly defined with the "Discount from" quantity.
Example:
from 100 pieces, there is 3 USD, or 10 pieces, or 5 % discount;
from 200 pieces, there is 10 USD, or 30 pieces, or 12 % discount;
--> and so on
If you can enter Quantity discount, you enter comb-material (for example when you purchase 1 grill, you also get 10 kg of charcoal).
First, this discount can only be used for POS terminals (at the moment, the sales order cannot deal with free goods and combi-discounts).
Example of a combimaterial:
as of 1 piece, you get 10 kg of "charcoal"
as of 100 pieces, you get 5 % discount (see above)
--> and there is always the 10 kg of charcoal for each 1 piece!
