This field is only relevant for cancelling.

Here, you can specify the date of a cancellation. This date is used, for instance, for the value date of the credit memo that is created in Financial Accounting:

• If you enter a date, it will be used, provided it is not before the date of the invoice that is cancelled.
• If you do not enter a date, the invoice date of the invoice that is cancelled is used.
