Use
In CREATE mode, use this field to provide descriptions for the objects you create. To do so:
- type in a description, of up to 40 characters.
For example, manufacturing division of firm.
In DISPLAY mode, the system automatically completes the field, and it may not be edited.

This field contains a brief description of a position. Descriptions may be up to 40 alphanumeric characters.
Use
The system automatically inserts the description for the job you are copying, as a default entry. You do not have to use it.
If you are creating only one position, use this field to apply a description to the position. To do so:
- type in an appropriate description
If you are creating more than one position, leave the default entry, since the same description will be applied to each position created. Edit descriptions later, using the Rename feature.
