Definition
Date at which the shipment cost item is entered in Financial Accounting or in Cost Accounting.
Use
When cancelling (during forwarding) a shipment cost item, the system proposes the settlement date as the settlement date for cancellation. You can change the date proposed manually.
Procedure
Note
The posting date is used to determine the business year and the periods for which updating of the relevant accounts or cost elements contained in the shipment cost items is carried out.
The allowed posting period is used to check whether the posting date specified is allowed.
