Definition
Determines the station at which the components are assembled.
The assembly location is determined from the data you created in the iPPE Workbench. To be able to use the stock correction, the material can only be assembled at a maximum of two stations. This field is only displayed if the following conditions are fulfilled:
- Exact stocks per takt only exist for supply segments whose stock is withdrawn for takted lines only.
- For the line, the indicator Takted production with lot size 1 must be set in iPPE on the Basic Data tab page.
If this indicator is set the automatic supply-to-production function assumes that the orders on the line were scheduled using sequencing/model mix planning and therefore that one order exists in each takt with a lot size 1. Orders must have the lot size 1. - A serialization reporting point has to exist. (When possible, this is determined automatically during the iPPE explosion. A prerequisite for this is that a reporting point exists before the assembly location of the components through which the orders pass in the same sequence as through the assembly location. Therefore, no detour is allowed between the reporting point and the assembly location.)
- A synchronization reporting point must exist. (When possible, this is determined automatically during the iPPE explosion. A prerequisite for this is that a reporting point exists before or after the assembly location and that no buffer exists between the assembly location and the corresponding reporting point.)
