Definition

The input tax indicator acts to represent a tax category that has to be considered in tax returns made to the tax office.

The tax indicators are unique for each country. The tax rate and other characteristics are defined in the system for each tax indicator.

Procedure

For tax-free or non-taxable procedures you have to use tax indicators with a percentage rate of 0 if the corresponding procedures are to be displayed in the tax returns.

Note

When tax rates are changed by the legislature, you have to define new tax indicators. The old indicators with the old tax rates must be maintained until no more open items using this tax indicator exist.
