Definition

Indicator that controls the status dependency.

Use

To be able to determine periodic results analysis data during the calculation of work in process (WIP) or in results analysis, and to be able to cancel this data at the proper time, the system needs information on the relevant business transactions for the period that affect cost accounting.

Results analysis and WIP calculation are controlled through CO status management. In the valuation methods in Customizing, you define how the valuation depends on the status. The CO statuses are generally independent of the period. You can now make the following settings with this indicator:

  • Status control = " " (blank)

    Interpreted as "A"

  • Status control = A
    • Sales orders:
    • The status DLV (delivered) and FNBL (final billing) are determined dynamically from the document flow of the sales order at the time of results analysis. The other statuses are determined through CO status management.
    • Production orders:
    • The periods in which the statuses DVL (delivered) and TECO (technically completed) were set are read from the master record of the production order. Sales orders:
  • Status control = B
    • Sales orders:
    • Statuses DLV and FNBL are not determined dynamically from the document flow but through CO status management. You can set this status manually or with report program SAPKKA12.
    • Production orders:
    • The periods in which the statuses DLV (delivered) and TECO (technically completed) were set is read from the master data of the production order.
  • Status control = C
    • All objects except production orders:
    • The periods in which the status codes were set is determined from the change documents of CO status management.
A prerequisite is that change documents have been generated.
    • Production orders:
    • The periods in which the statuses DLV (delivered) and TECO (technically completed) were set are read from the master data of the production order.
