Definition

Group of Application Status that can be used in a trading contract for controlling the editing process.

Example

The following application status can be grouped together in a status group. If this is done, each individual application status is assigned to a specific system status:

• Open:
• Status for a new trading contract.
• Waiting for Approval:
• The trading contract data is complete but the contract must be approved before it can be processed further.
• Approved:
• The trading contract was approved by an associate who has the correct authorization.
• Released:
• The relevant follow-on documents, for example, a sales order or purchase order, can be generated.
• Completed:
• Editing of this trading contract is completed.

You can create different status groups for different trading contract types to ensure that different business processes in the various areas of your company are taken into consideration.
