Definition
Key uniquely identifying a statistical key figure.
Statistical key figures represent activities or statistics in a cost center, profit center, or order. They are measured in units of time or quantity.
Use
You create statistical key figures with maintenance transactions and post both plan and actual values to cost centers and orders. In CO, statistical key figures are used in assessment and distribution as allocation bases. These are used to calculate the debit on a receiver object.
Statistical key figures may be used for distribution, assessment, or creation of other statistical key figures.
Unlike activity types, statistical key figures cannot be used to allocate internal activity.
Statistical key figures can be transferred from other objects to Profit Center Accounting, where you can create new statistical key figures.
Example
An example of a statistical key figure is the number of employees in a cost center. Once you have created the statistical key figure EMPLOY, you can enter the plan and actual values on each cost center. These values can then be used for assessing cafeteria costs on all the other cost centers.

Use
When planning statistical key figures, you can plan an individual statistical key figure or a group of statistical key figures.
You plan a group with statistical key figures when you want to quick access to all the statistical key figures in your cost center for planning purposes.
By planning groups of statistical key figures, you have the advantage of not having to fill in the request screen for each individual statistical key figure.
Procedure
You can use either a single value, an interval or a group.

Use
Under progress determination, the system updates the percentage of completion as a statistical key figure. The system distinguishes between statistical key figures with three different uses:
- Non-aggregated values
- Aggregated values
- Progress level for result determination
Supplementary Documentation - STAGR 0462
Use
Enter the statistical key figure that you want to use for the Quantity-based measuring method.
Examples
For the Quantity-based measuring method you maintained the statistical key figure drawings.
In your project, you plan 100 drawings for a business transaction, and have already confirmed 10 drawings. The system determines the actual percentage of completion in proportion to the total quantity at 10%.
Dependencies
You define key figures for the controlling area for the measuring method quantity-based only.
