Definition
The planning periods for sequencing are determined in days.
The planning periods divide the period of examination in sequencing into different time segments. Sequencing carries out sequence planning for each of these time segments.
The system proceeds as follows:
- It determines all planned orders whose basic start dates lie within a certain planning period.
- It establishes the sequence for the planned orders according to the procedure specified in the procedure profile.
Use
Dependencies
If days are used as the basis for determining the planning periods, several days can be grouped together to form a planning period.
