Definition

Specifies that the period and horizon calculation is aligned on the current day.

Use

This indicator is relevant if you use planning periods of several days or a medium-term planning horizon.

  • If you do not set this indicator, the calculation of the planning periods or the end of the short-term planning horizon is aligned on the user-dependent period of examination in sequencing. The planning period calculation begins on the start date of the period of examination. The medium-term planning horizon is taken into account as an offset to the same date.
  • If you set this indicator, the calculation is made independently of the user parameters and is aligned on the current date. The current day is the first day of the current planning period. The medium-term planning horizon is taken into account as an offset to the current day.
