Definition

Deactivates the repeated automatic dispatching of planned orders that have already been dispatched in a previous planning run.

  • In repeated automatic dispatching, Sequencing redispatches all planned orders in the period of examination each time it is invoked.
  • Without repeated automatic dispatching, Sequencing does not change the planned orders lying between the start of the period of examination and the current planning period. Newly created planned orders are likewise not dispatched in this time period.

Use

  • Deactivate repeated automatic dispatching if, in particular, you want to fix the order sequence for the planned orders in the current planning period since they may already be in process. Otherwise, Sequencing redispatches planned orders that you have already partially confirmed on the basis of the quantity that is still open, for example. Note that Sequencing may not dispatch newly created planned orders up to the current planning period.
  • Activate repeated automatic dispatching if you want the system to redispatch all planned orders each time Sequencing is invoked. This may be necessary if there is a last-minute change in the operating time in the current period, for example, or if you have created new planned orders at short notice.
