Documentation
Definition
Specifies the type of the evaluation period.
Use
You can adjust the period split to suit your own requirements. To do this choose, Change User-Defined Period Split.
Dependencies
If you expand or reduce an evaluation period, the system automatically adjusts the user-defined period split of the current session. You can retain this period split for future sessions by choosing Change user-defined period split and by saving the settings in following dialog box. Note that a week always commences on the first day of the calendar week.
Example
You can define the following period splits, for example:
- You want the system to display the first two days of the period of examination in shifts (days in shifts = 2).
- You want the system to display the rest of the week and the following weeks in days (weeks in days = 2).
- You want the system to display the following weeks as a period (number of weeks = 1).
- The system then displays the remainder of the period of examination in months. Note that after the number of weekly periods, the system first displays the rest of a month as a period and then continues with monthly splits until the end of the period of examination. If the period is a rest month, the system displays this with the period description <M.
