Definition

This field determines how the system should deal with the table field.

Possible entries:

  • ' ': Standard field
  • '1': Required field

    If this field is missing in a report for the specified table, the system issues an error message and cancels report group generation.

  • '2': Recommended field

    If this field is missing in a report for the specified table, the system issues a warning and continues report group generation.

  • '3': Prohibited field

    The field must not be used in a report for the specified table. If it is used, the system issues an error message and cancels report group generation.

  • '4': Alias

    The field defines an alias for the field defined in the field 'Defining field'. The Report Writer only recognizes the alias name for the field in question.
