Documentation
Definition
The planning periods for sequencing are determined in workdays depending on the calendar for the line.
The planning periods divide the period of examination in sequencing into different time segments. Sequencing carries out sequence planning for the planned orders for each of these time segments.
In doing so, the system proceeds as follows:
- It determines all planned orders whose basic start dates lie within a certain planning period.
- It establishes the sequence for these planned orders according to the procedure specified in the procedure profile.
Use
Dependencies
If days are used as the basis for determining the planning periods, several days can be grouped to form a planning period.
