Documentation
Definition
You can use this indicator in procedures for production smoothing/leveling (Heijunka) to specify to what extent automatic sequencing is allowed to plan the available capacity.
Use
You can use this indicator if you want to form buffers to cater for subsequent changes to the production plan as early as the sequencing planning/sequence formation stage. In this case, the system automatically dispatches planned orders up to the specified planned maximum capacity utilization within one planning period only.
You can use the remaining free available capacity for manual planning tasks such as adding further planned orders or bringing forward important orders.
