Definition
Quantity similar to the (gross) margin in the sales price calculation function, in which the current (gross) sales price valid on the pricing date is used instead of the calculated (gross) sales price.
Use
The current (gross) margin is calculated in the sales price calculation function in order to calculate the current final price taking into account the purchasing conditions valid on the pricing date of the calculation.
The following formula applies:
Current (gross) margin = (curr. SP(gross) - PP(net/net)) / curr. SP(gross) * 100
The current (gross) margin does not, therefore, correspond to the (gross) margin valid for the calculation of the current final price. These margins are only the same if the purchase price (net/net) of the current calculation corresponds to the purchase price (net/net) of the previous calculation.
Display in the sales price calculation function
The current (gross) margin is displayed in the SAPBA list field in the pricing table.
Dependencies
When calculating prices for store distribution chains, the current (gross) sales price corresponds to the current final price. For wholesale and distribution center distribution chains in which the sales price does not include taxes, however, the current (gross) sales price is first calculated from the current final price and the relationship between the (gross) sales price and (net) sales price.
