Definition

Defines an item number for the schedule records in Sequencing which is continuously updated.

Use

The system usually creates a schedule record for the planned orders over the complete production line.
If you have split a production line into buffered sections using sort buffers, the system creates a schedule record for every buffered section in Sequencing as the sequence of the planned orders can change in the sort buffer.
