Definition

Specifically describes an order characteristic.
The order characteristic is an attribute of a planned order. This attribute can have various statuses which you define in the system as characteristic values in workstep Assign characteristics.

Example

An order characteristic may be the material availability of a planned order, for example. This order characteristic can have the following characteristic values:

• Not checked ("blank")
• Checked and not confirmed (indicator "1")
• Checked and partially confirmed (indicator "2")
• Checked and completely confirmed (indicator "3")

Use

You can define as many order characteristics as you require. Then you can assign up to three order characteristics to an order profile and a color to the characteristic values for the display of the order bars in the sequence schedule.
