Definition

If data for a field group is to be updated in the allocation, but this field group is not allocated internally, the data to be written has to be taken from other sources.

Example: In Special Purpose Ledger the transaction currency is to be updated. However, the transaction currency is not used internally in the allocation. In this case, the group currency is to be updated as the transaction currency. The group currency has been converted to the corresponding transaction currency unit. This is why you enter the table of the group currency.
